Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Landskapsstudie by Åke Göransson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 18,000.00 (€ 1,867.09). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Åke Göransson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seated model in May this year with an auction result of SEK 520,000.00 (€ 44,805.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Landskapsstudie von Åke Göransson im Mai 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 18.000,00 (€ 1.867,09) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Åke Göransson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seated model im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 520.000,00 (€ 44.805,71).
