Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Senza Titolo by Afro for EUR 52,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Arte Contemporanea at Sothebys in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 60,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Afro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Porta Portese in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 938,500.00 (€ 721,368.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Senza Titolo von Afro für EUR 52.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Arte Contemporanea bei Sothebys in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Afro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Porta Portese im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 938.500,00 (€ 721.368,18).
