In September 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included the work Hillhead by Adrian Heath. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,538.05), 60% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adrian Heath achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Painting With Orange And Purple in October last year with an auction result of GBP 163,800.00 (€ 190,825.19).

Im September 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made in Britain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hillhead von Adrian Heath zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.538,05) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adrian Heath erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Painting With Orange And Purple im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 163.800,00 (€ 190.825,19).
