A top price for Adriaen Jansz. Kraen - as previously expected
In July 2013 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work A roemer, an upturned tazza, grapes, peaches and salmon on pewter platters, olives in a porcelain bowl, and other objects on a partly draped table by Adriaen Jansz. Kraen. The price achieved of GBP 121,875.00 (€ 139,263.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A roemer, an upturned tazza, grapes, peaches and salmon on pewter platters, olives in a porcelain bowl, and other objects on a partly draped table is the most expensive artwork by Adriaen Jansz. Kraen that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juli 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A roemer, an upturned tazza, grapes, peaches and salmon on pewter platters, olives in a porcelain bowl, and other objects on a partly draped table von Adriaen Jansz. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist A roemer, an upturned tazza, grapes, peaches and salmon on pewter platters, olives in a porcelain bowl, and other objects on a partly draped table das teuerste Kunstwerk von Adriaen Jansz. Kraen, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
