In the Modern Visions: Exceptional Photographs auction, the work Basel, View from the Hôtel des Trois Rois, c. 1870 sold for USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,476.08) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adolphe Braun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vues Panoramiques: 'Lac de Wallenstadt'; 'Vallée de Chamonix'; 'Chapelle Notre Dame a Feé Vallée de Saas'; 'Vue de Interlaken'; 'Vue de la Schienigiplatte'; 'Vue de Wengen pres Lauterbrunnen'; 'Vallee de Gastern Suisse'; 'Le Stanbach'; 'Kandersteg in April 2011 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,785.17)

In der Auktion Modern Visions: Exceptional Photographs wurde die Arbeit Basel, View from the Hôtel des Trois Rois, c. 1870 für USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.476,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00.
