In September 2007 Christies in London held the auction Exploration and Travel, which included the work Zermatt, the Matterhorn beyond by Adolphe Braun. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,613.17), 41% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adolphe Braun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vues Panoramiques: 'Lac de Wallenstadt'; 'Vallée de Chamonix'; 'Chapelle Notre Dame a Feé Vallée de Saas'; 'Vue de Interlaken'; 'Vue de la Schienigiplatte'; 'Vue de Wengen pres Lauterbrunnen'; 'Vallee de Gastern Suisse'; 'Le Stanbach'; 'Kandersteg in April 2011 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,785.17

Im September 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Exploration and Travel durch, in der auch die Arbeit Zermatt, the Matterhorn beyond von Adolphe Braun zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.613,17) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adolphe Braun erzielen.
