Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction The Orientalist Sale, which included the work Polishconfidences by Adam Styka. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,507.02). Admittedly, works by Adam Styka have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A negotiation in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 137,750.00 (€ 163,196.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Orientalist Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Polishconfidences von Adam Styka zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.507,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adam Styka auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A negotiation im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.750,00 (€ 163.196,55).
