In November 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work A moonlit river landscape with fishermen in choppy waters by Abraham Susenier. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 18,750.00 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abraham Susenier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vanitas Still Life With A Skull, Feathers, An Overturned Roemer, A Sculpture And A Portfolio Of Drawings, which sold at auction in January 2008 for USD 85,000.00 (€ 57,273.77).

Im November 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A moonlit river landscape with fishermen in choppy waters von Abraham Susenier zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 18.750,00 und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Abraham Susenier mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vanitas Still Life With A Skull, Feathers, An Overturned Roemer, A Sculpture And A Portfolio Of Drawings beobachtet, die im Januar 2008 für USD 85.000,00 (€ 57.273,77) versteigert wurde.
