The work A Moonlit River Landscape With Fishermen In Choppy Waters by Abraham Susenier was sold in the Old Masters Online | Part I: Property from the SØR Rusche Collection | Part II: Property from Various Owners auction at Sothebys in London in September 2019. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,052.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Abraham Susenier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vanitas Still Life With A Skull, Feathers, An Overturned Roemer, A Sculpture And A Portfolio Of Drawings in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 85,000.00 (€ 57,273.77).
