Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work A porcelain bowl with walnuts, a pewter dish with hazelnuts and a 'Façon de Venise', all on a cherub styled pedestal by Abraham Susenier. The price achieved of EUR 18,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abraham Susenier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vanitas Still Life With A Skull, Feathers, An Overturned Roemer, A Sculpture And A Portfolio Of Drawings, which sold at auction in January 2008 for USD 85,000.00 (€ 57,273.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A porcelain bowl with walnuts, a pewter dish with hazelnuts and a 'Façon de Venise', all on a cherub styled pedestal von Abraham Susenier zur Versteigerung kam.
