Auction result well in line with expectations
The work „Eiffel Tower, Paris“. by Abe Frajndlich was auctioned at Grisebach in June 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 812.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abe Frajndlich - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work „Art Blakey, Sweet Basil′s, New York City, April 20, 1986“., which sold at auction in May 2014 for EUR 2,375.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit „Eiffel Tower, Paris“. von Abe Frajndlich kam im Juni 2015 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 812,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Abe Frajndlich mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit „Art Blakey, Sweet Basil′s, New York City, April 20, 1986“. beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für EUR 2.375,00 versteigert wurde.
