The »bidding war« ended at USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,340.00), 33% above the upper estimate. Other works by Abdulrahman Katanani have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,949.08) in March 2016 for the work without title.

Die Arbeit Jumping over the Barbed wire von Abdulrahman Katanani wurde im Oktober 2011 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish ArtPart II bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.340,00) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Abdulrahman Katanani haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.949,08) im März 2016 für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet.
