The work Ibn Ibnaha Ahmed (Her Nephew Ahmed) by Abdulrahman Katanani was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2016. It achieved a price of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,543.33), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Abdulrahman Katanani; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in March 2016 with the realized price of USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,949.08).

Die Arbeit Ibn Ibnaha Ahmed (Her Nephew Ahmed) von Abdulrahman Katanani wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.543,33) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Abdulrahman Katanani; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.949,08).
