Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Abdulrahman Katanani was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2011. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,233.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abdulrahman Katanani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2016 for USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,949.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Abdulrahman Katanani kam im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.233,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Abdulrahman Katanani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im März 2016 für USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.949,08) versteigert wurde.
