In March 2017 Christies in Dubai held the auction Dubai: Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Boy & Girl on Parachute by Abdulrahman Katanani. The »bidding war« ended at USD 18,750.00 (€ 17,526.64), 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by Abdulrahman Katanani have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,949.08) in March 2016 for the work without title.
