In March 2019 Christies in Dubai held the auction Middle Eastern Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Boy and Girl on Total Oil Barrel by Abdulrahman Katanani. The »bidding war« ended at USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,699.32), 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by Abdulrahman Katanani have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,949.08) in March 2016 for the work without title.

Im März 2019 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Middle Eastern Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Boy and Girl on Total Oil Barrel von Abdulrahman Katanani zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.699,32) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
