Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Homeward ducks by Abdullah Ariff was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 24,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,597.22). Admittedly, works by Abdullah Ariff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Hill Spring, 12th Milestone, Penang in November 2012 with an auction result of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 19,830.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Homeward ducks von Abdullah Ariff kam im Mai 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 24.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.597,22) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abdullah Ariff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Hill Spring, 12th Milestone, Penang im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 19.830,90).
