Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Blue House; & Marshland Sunset by Abdullah Ariff was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2015. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 8,066.90). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abdullah Ariff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Hill Spring, 12th Milestone, Penang, which sold at auction in November 2012 for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 19,830.90).

Die Arbeit The Blue House; & Marshland Sunset von Abdullah Ariff kam im Mai 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 8.066,90) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Abdullah Ariff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Hill Spring, 12th Milestone, Penang beobachtet, die im November 2012 für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 19.830,90) versteigert wurde.
