Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Neige Blanche, 2004 - White Snow, 2004 by Abbas Kiarostami was sold in the Iranian and Arab Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in October 2009. It changed hands for a price of EUR 9,563.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Abbas Kiarostami have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled #6 from Snow White Series in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 72,500.00 (€ 92,223.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Neige Blanche, 2004 - White Snow, 2004 von Abbas Kiarostami wurde im Oktober 2009 in der Auktion Iranian and Arab Modern and Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 9.563,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abbas Kiarostami auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled #6 from Snow White Series im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 72.500,00 (€ 92.223,17).
