Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Aaron Young was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 22,680.00 (€ 27,045.10). Admittedly, works by Aaron Young have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greeting Card 10a in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 139,803.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Aaron Young kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 22.680,00 (€ 27.045,10) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aaron Young auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greeting Card 10a im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 121.250,00 (€ 139.803,15).
