Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Aaron Young could be acquired at Phillips in 17 - in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction auction, the work The New Look of Leadership changed hands for USD 3,810.00 (€ 3,457.35) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aaron Young achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greeting Card 10a in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 139,803.15).
