Auction result misses estimated price range
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work Forever by Aaron Young for USD 1,270.00 (€ 1,152.45). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction at Phillips in 17 - and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aaron Young achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greeting Card 10a in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 139,803.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Forever von Aaron Young für USD 1.270,00 (€ 1.152,45) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction bei Phillips in 17 - erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aaron Young erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greeting Card 10a im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 121.250,00 (€ 139.803,15).
