Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Aaron Young could be acquired at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in November last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern & Contemporary Art auction, the work Arc Light (Moscow, Triptych) changed hands for USD 6,375.00 (€ 6,175.53) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aaron Young achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greeting Card 10a in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 139,803.15).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Aaron Young konnte im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Arc Light (Moscow, Triptych) für USD 6.375,00 (€ 6.175,53) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aaron Young erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greeting Card 10a im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 121.250,00 (€ 139.803,15).
