Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Aaron van Erp could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam auction, this work without title changed hands for EUR 1,890.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Aaron van Erp have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2011 with an auction result of EUR 12,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Aaron van Erp konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 1.890,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aaron van Erp auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.500,00.
