Sold at the upper estimate price
This work without title by Aaron van Erp was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2018. The auction ended at the price of EUR 5,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aaron van Erp - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2011 for EUR 12,500.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Aaron van Erp wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 5.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Aaron van Erp mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2011 für EUR 12.500,00 versteigert wurde.
