Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2013 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, which included the work Drei Landärzte by Aaron van Erp. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aaron van Erp - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2011 for EUR 12,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2013 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Drei Landärzte von Aaron van Erp zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Aaron van Erp mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2011 für EUR 12.500,00 versteigert wurde.
