In October 2019 VAN HAM held the auction SOR Rusche Collection - Part II, which included the work Erotisch Schilderij met Colaflesje (Erotic Painting with a bottle of Coke) by Aaron van Erp. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,934.00 61% above the estimate. Admittedly, works by Aaron van Erp have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2011 with an auction result of EUR 12,500.00.
Schätzpreis um 61 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2019 führte VAN HAM die Auktion SOR Rusche Collection - Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Erotisch Schilderij met Colaflesje (Erotic Painting with a bottle of Coke) von Aaron van Erp zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.934,00 und damit 61% über dem Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aaron van Erp auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.500,00.
