Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Aaron van Erp was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in December 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,508.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aaron van Erp - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2011 for EUR 12,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Aaron van Erp wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.780,00 (€ 4.508,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Aaron van Erp mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2011 für EUR 12.500,00 versteigert wurde.
