Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Mill Along the River by Aaron Harry Gorson. The price achieved of USD 49,000.00 (€ 33,360.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aaron Harry Gorson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of A Steel Mill, Pennsylvania, which sold at auction in December 2013 for USD 92,500.00 (€ 67,131.14).

Im November 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mill Along the River von Aaron Harry Gorson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 49.000,00 (€ 33.360,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden.
