This artwork by Aaron Harry Gorson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in August last year. In the American Art auction, the work The Break of the Haze sold for USD 7,012.50 (€ 6,967.21) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Aaron Harry Gorson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Steel Mill, Pennsylvania in December 2013 with an auction result of USD 92,500.00 (€ 67,131.14).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Aaron Harry Gorson erzielte im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion American Art wurde die Arbeit The Break of the Haze für USD 7.012,50 (€ 6.967,21) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aaron Harry Gorson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of A Steel Mill, Pennsylvania im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 92.500,00 (€ 67.131,14).
