In April 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Pittsburgh At Night by Aaron Harry Gorson. The »bidding war« ended at USD 37,500.00 (€ 28,346.81), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aaron Harry Gorson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of A Steel Mill, Pennsylvania, which sold at auction in December 2013 for USD 92,500.00 (€ 67,131.14).

Im April 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pittsburgh At Night von Aaron Harry Gorson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 28.346,81) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Aaron Harry Gorson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait Of A Steel Mill, Pennsylvania beobachtet, die im Dezember 2013 für USD 92.500,00 (€ 67.131,14) versteigert wurde.
