In the American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work The Fourth Of July changed hands for USD 28,125.00 (€ 19,973.72) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aaron Harry Gorson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of A Steel Mill, Pennsylvania, which sold at auction in December 2013 for USD 92,500.00 (€ 67,131.14).
