Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pittsburgh at Night by Aaron Harry Gorson was sold in the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction at Christies in New York in October 2003. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 31,070.00 (€ 26,763.72). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aaron Harry Gorson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of A Steel Mill, Pennsylvania, which sold at auction in December 2013 for USD 92,500.00 (€ 67,131.14).

Die Arbeit Pittsburgh at Night von Aaron Harry Gorson wurde im Oktober 2003 in der Auktion Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 31.070,00 (€ 26.763,72) einen neuen Besitzer.
