In June 2006 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs, which included the work A Winter Tragedy by A. Roland Knight. The result of GBP 300.00 (€ 434.09) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by A. Roland Knight achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Perch; Salmon and Trout; Roach; Pike; Barbel and Chub; and Trout -the first leap in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 9,560.00 (€ 14,228.14).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Winter Tragedy von A. Roland Knight zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 300,00 (€ 434,09) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von A. Roland Knight erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Perch; Salmon and Trout; Roach; Pike; Barbel and Chub; and Trout -the first leap im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.560,00 (€ 14.228,14).
