Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Four That Got Away! by A. Roland Knight was sold in the The Sunday Sale auction at Christies in London in November 2013. The price achieved of GBP 1,062.50 (€ 1,278.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by A. Roland Knight achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Perch; Salmon and Trout; Roach; Pike; Barbel and Chub; and Trout -the first leap in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 9,560.00 (€ 14,228.14).
