It achieved a price of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,395.28), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Admittedly, works by A. Roland Knight have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Perch; Salmon and Trout; Roach; Pike; Barbel and Chub; and Trout -the first leap in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 9,560.00 (€ 14,228.14).

Die Arbeit Taking the fly; and The fly fisherman's net von A. Roland Knight kam im Dezember 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.395,28) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von A. Roland Knight auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Perch; Salmon and Trout; Roach; Pike; Barbel and Chub; and Trout -the first leap im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.560,00 (€ 14.228,14).
