Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs, which included the work The lord of the loch by A. Roland Knight. The price achieved of GBP 900.00 (€ 1,324.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by A. Roland Knight achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Perch; Salmon and Trout; Roach; Pike; Barbel and Chub; and Trout -the first leap in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 9,560.00 (€ 14,228.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit The lord of the loch von A. Roland Knight zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 900,00 (€ 1.324,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von A. Roland Knight erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Perch; Salmon and Trout; Roach; Pike; Barbel and Chub; and Trout -the first leap im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.560,00 (€ 14.228,14).
