Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Topología Erótica by Zilia Sánchez was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2007. The price achieved of USD 20,000.00 (€ 13,616.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zilia Sánchez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Topología Erótica in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 175,000.00 (€ 155,860.35).

Die Arbeit Topología Erótica von Zilia Sánchez kam im November 2007 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 13.616,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 18.000,00 – 22.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zilia Sánchez erzielen.
