Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seven-Character Poem in Cursive Script by Zhu Yunming was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The price achieved of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 57,990.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Yunming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cursive Script Calligraphy in December this year with an auction result of HKD 24,575,000.00 (€ 2,843,608.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seven-Character Poem in Cursive Script von Zhu Yunming wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 57.990,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhu Yunming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cursive Script Calligraphy im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 24.575.000,00 (€ 2.843.608,75).
