A top price for Zhu Yunming
This artwork by Zhu Yunming achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in December this year. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Cursive Script Calligraphy sold for HKD 24,575,000.00 (€ 2,843,608.75) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 8,800,000.00. This high result makes Cursive Script Calligraphy the most expensive artwork by Zhu Yunming that we have observed at auctions so far.
