Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Zhu Yunming achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2020. In the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Calligraphy In Cursive Script sold for HKD 237,500.00 (€ 25,642.37) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Yunming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cursive Script Calligraphy in December this year with an auction result of HKD 24,575,000.00 (€ 2,843,608.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhu Yunming erzielte im November 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy In Cursive Script für HKD 237.500,00 (€ 25.642,37) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhu Yunming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cursive Script Calligraphy im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 24.575.000,00 (€ 2.843.608,75).
