The work Poem In Running Script by Zhu Yunming was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 52,757.99), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Yunming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cursive Script Calligraphy in December this year with an auction result of HKD 24,575,000.00 (€ 2,843,608.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Poem In Running Script von Zhu Yunming kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 52.757,99) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhu Yunming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cursive Script Calligraphy im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 24.575.000,00 (€ 2.843.608,75).
