Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy, which included the work Poem In Cursive Script by Zhu Yunming. The price achieved of USD 68,750.00 (€ 49,902.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Yunming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cursive Script Calligraphy in December this year with an auction result of HKD 24,575,000.00 (€ 2,843,608.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2014 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poem In Cursive Script von Zhu Yunming zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 49.902,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhu Yunming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cursive Script Calligraphy im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 24.575.000,00 (€ 2.843.608,75).
