In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction, the work Calligraphy In Regular Script sold for USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,066.60) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhu Ruzhen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Kaishu in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 441,000.00 (€ 47,215.96).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhu Ruzhen erzielte im September 2018 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script für USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.066,60) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhu Ruzhen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Kaishu im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 441.000,00 (€ 47.215,96).
