Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Zhu Ruzhen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. In the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Calligraphy sold for HKD 43,750.00 (€ 4,624.71) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Ruzhen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Kaishu in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 441,000.00 (€ 47,215.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhu Ruzhen erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy für HKD 43.750,00 (€ 4.624,71) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhu Ruzhen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Kaishu im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 441.000,00 (€ 47.215,96).
