This artwork by Zhu Ruzhen achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2015. In the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction, the work Seven-Character Couplet In Regular Script sold for HKD 35,400.00 (€ 4,135.66) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Ruzhen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Kaishu in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 441,000.00 (€ 47,215.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhu Ruzhen erzielte im Oktober 2015 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas wurde die Arbeit Seven-Character Couplet In Regular Script für HKD 35.400,00 (€ 4.135,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhu Ruzhen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Kaishu im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 441.000,00 (€ 47.215,96).
