In May 2016 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, which included the work Seven-Character Couplet In Regular Script by Zhu Ruzhen. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 56,640.00 (€ 6,546.54), 42% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Zhu Ruzhen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Kaishu in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 441,000.00 (€ 47,215.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2016 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seven-Character Couplet In Regular Script von Zhu Ruzhen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 56.640,00 (€ 6.546,54) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhu Ruzhen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Kaishu im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 441.000,00 (€ 47.215,96).
