Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Children Reading by Zhou Sicong. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 87,500.00 (€ 10,014.35). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Sicong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lotuses in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,960,000.00 (€ 201,787.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Children Reading von Zhou Sicong zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 87.500,00 (€ 10.014,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhou Sicong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lotuses im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.960.000,00 (€ 201.787,71).
