This artwork by Zhou Sicong achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October this year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Hearding sold for HKD 144,000.00 (€ 17,414.08) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Sicong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lotuses in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,960,000.00 (€ 201,787.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhou Sicong erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Hearding für HKD 144.000,00 (€ 17.414,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhou Sicong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lotuses im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.960.000,00 (€ 201.787,71).
