Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Going To School by Zhou Sicong was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 26,400.00 (€ 26,959.57) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 15,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhou Sicong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lotuses in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,960,000.00 (€ 201,787.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Going To School von Zhou Sicong kam im April diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 26.400,00 (€ 26.959,57) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhou Sicong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lotuses im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.960.000,00 (€ 201.787,71).
